Project Name: LG&E Mill CreekLocation: Louisville, KYPosition Required: Site SchedulerStart Date: March 9thProject Duration: Approximately 12 months Job Description SummaryResponsible to develop and maintain integrated L2/L3 project schedules, to support project reporting and on time delivery analysis which complies with Customer requirements and adheres to internal processes and standards.Responsible to support continuous improvement of Equipment Planning processes and developing/maintaining KPIs (on time delivery, key milestones, key commodities, say/do ratio, physical progress, schedule quality, etc.) & critical path analysis this TK Projecte where partner is leader. Roles and ResponsibilitiesUnderstand and Confirm ITO assumptions & risk summary is clearly understood, provided during ITO/OTR handoff.Attend CKOM & follow-up on open action items from the CKOM related to schedule executionAttends release meetings led by ITO to understand project scope, ITO assumptions, and contribute to Delivery Matrix development.Support development of the Commitment Meeting file based on functional inputs, project requirements and contract requirements.Support the Commitment Meeting with functional owners to resolve initial schedule disconnects and reach agreement on the project baseline.Set up integrated project schedule (including L3/L2 and S curves) baseline working with internal GEV team and in alignment with Global Project Control, Planning and Scheduling processes.Ensures schedules accurately reflect project scope and execution strategy.Continuously monitors project on time delivery performance to ensure knowledge of main issues and how issues are being mitigated.Proactively monitors project schedule to highlight slippages, inaccurate data causing erroneous forecasts/reporting and identifies corrective actions and action owner to resolve issues.Update L2/L3 project schedule based on inputs from GEV team.Perform schedule analysis on monthly basis to identify the critical impacts and provide the mitigations suggestions.Ensure WIPT is updated monthlyWorks with project team to identify mitigation strategies and ensure strategies are reflected in project schedule.Escalates critical project issues to the internal project manager and project team.Ensures reports for other functions and customers accurately reflect status of project equipment and provide to customer and business reporting.Communicates to functions impact of execution strategy changes and resulting changes to required dates.Acts as a resource for project team members and supports with data, analysis, and root causes of schedule variances.Uses some judgement and has some ability to propose different solutions to address more complicated project scenarios.Perform the critical path analysis for deliverables and ensure no impact to contract dates.Claims (EOT, etc.); perform delay analysis to support extension of time and cost claims. Required QualificationsBachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma.5 years Experience in Project Control Planning & Scheduling function within an EPC environment, including execution of several projects with significant site exposureKnowledge in of power plant principles and work processes of EPC environments.Expertise of Primavera P6 (with resources loaded schedules). Desired CharacteristicsExcellent communication and interpersonal skills. Able to work with large complex project team reviews as well as to simplify complex messagesResilient and ability to work under pressureFluency in written and spoken EnglishExperience of working with international teams and complex environment and open for travelExperience in Extension of time claims / forensic planning
