Sushi Note in Sherman Oaks is looking for a lover of wine, sushi and restaurant operations to join our team in the role of Assistant General Manager. This role oversees and participates in service as a partner to the restaurant General Manager. We focus on equal parts hospitality, wine service & great sushi service. We need industry professionals that have developed their wine skills as well as service skills through management positions within the elevated dining industry. The compensation is salary plus bonus opportunity based on specific restaurant improvements. We are looking for restaurant professionals who want to grow in a small team environment. Experience in fine dining or upscale casual supervision a plus. Sushi knowledge is a priority but not required. Basic wine knowledge & wine service experience is expected (CMS 1 equivalent). We are a dinner only restaurant and must be available full time. Our managers generally work 50-60 hours per week. If you have goals of restaurant leadership we encourage you to submit your resume.
