Via Veneto Pizzarium is looking for a Head Baker to be part of the opening team and lead the team of bakers. Via Veneto Pizzarium (VVP) is a new quick-service restaurant offering Pizza al Taglio, scheduled to open February 26, 2026, located at 511 East 900 South, across the street from Liberty Park. Pizza al Taglio is a traditional Italian, semi-thick, light, and crispy crust pizza baked in large, rectangular pans, sold in slices by weight. Pizza al Taglio originates in Rome, where it’s a popular street food. The name, al Taglio, translates to “by the cut,” which refers to the way the pizza is sold. Pizzas are topped all the way to the edge, served with a huge variety of cheeses and toppings added before and after baking. Only the highest quality ingredients are used for these unique and flavorful pizzas, specifically 00 Italian flour, which makes it possible for even those with gluten intolerance to indulge. Via Veneto Pizzarium slices are typically large and rectangular; each slice can weigh around 1 pound or more, depending on toppings. The perfectly crisp crust and fresh, interesting toppings set this pizza apart as a must-visit for pizza enthusiasts. The casual atmosphere and diverse menu options cater to a wide range of preferences. The slices are cut from a whole pizza that is about 1.5’ X 2’. Customers choose from a variety of pizza topping combinations. Slices are often served in generous portions, making them filling. The unique style allows for a variety of crust thicknesses and textures. Overall, Via Veneto Pizzarium is a standout destination for pizza lovers seeking a memorable and authentic Italian dining experience, to stay or grab and go.
