Commercial Concrete EstimatorLocation: Ontario, CACompensation: $140,000 to $200k comp, depending on experienceOverviewA well established commercial concrete contractor is seeking an experienced Estimator to support preconstruction and bidding efforts for structural and site concrete scopes across Southern California. This role plays a critical part in pricing work accurately, managing risk, and supporting successful project execution from pursuit through turnover.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare detailed estimates for commercial concrete projects from conceptual through hard bidPerform quantity takeoffs for structural and site concrete scopesAnalyze drawings, specifications, and bid documents for accuracy and completenessSolicit and evaluate pricing from vendors and subcontractorsDevelop pricing for labor, materials, equipment, and self perform scopesIdentify risks, value engineering opportunities, and cost savings strategiesCollaborate with project managers, superintendents, and preconstruction teamsSupport bid reviews, scope clarifications, and contract handoff meetingsProject TypesStructural concrete for commercial buildingsTilt up and cast in place constructionFoundations, slabs on grade, podium decks, and site concreteProjects delivered for established general contractors throughout Southern CaliforniaQualifications5 plus years of experience estimating commercial concrete projectsStrong understanding of structural and site concrete systemsExperience with both negotiated and hard bid workProficiency with estimating software and takeoff toolsAbility to read and interpret construction documentsStrong analytical, organizational, and communication skillsCompensation and BenefitsBase salary range of $120,000 to $170,000Performance based bonus potentialMedical, dental, and vision insurance401k with company contributionPaid time off and paid holidaysLong term opportunity with a stable and growing concrete contractor
