Position Summary NextCare Urgent Care is seeking a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our Spring, TX clinic on a part-time basis.This role requires a minimum commitment of four (4) 12-hour shifts per month, including occasional weekends and holidays based on clinic needs. The ideal candidate is patient-focused, adaptable, and comfortable caring for patients of all ages in a fast-paced urgent care environment. Responsibilities Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients in an urgent care and/or occupational health settingDeliver compassionate, patient-centered care aligned with NextCare s valuesCommunicate diagnoses, treatment plans, and follow-up instructions clearlyDocument care accurately and efficiently in the EHREnsure appropriate coding and billing for services renderedMaintain productivity consistent with peers and industry benchmarksFollow up on patient care as clinically indicatedPractice medicine ethically, legally, and professionally Required Qualifications Active, unrestricted Texas PA or NP licenseActive DEA registrationPA: NCCPA certificationNP: ANCC or AANP certification (Family Nurse Practitioner required)Bachelor s degree (PA) or Master s degree (NP)Active BLS certificationAbility to treat patients of all agesEHR proficiencyAvailability for a minimum of four (4) 12-hour shifts per month, including occasional weekends and holidaysDOT certification required or willingness to obtain (training provided at no cost) Preferred Qualifications Experience with initial X-ray interpretation prior to radiologist over-readSuturing and wound care experiencePrior urgent care, emergency department fast-track, or walk-in clinic experience Benefits Part-time providers at NextCare may be eligible for:401(k) planMalpractice insuranceAdditional benefits per plan eligibility and policy Apply Today Interested candidates are encouraged to apply with a current resume.Contact:Maddie KarnesVP of Provider Recruitment
