Position Overview:As a Project Engineer at Total Concrete Services, you will work hand-in-hand with the Project Management Team in an office setting. You will oversee administrative and collaborative aspects of construction projects, from pre-construction planning to project completion. This includes managing budgets, routing construction documents, and client relationships to ensure successful project delivery. You will be responsible for coordinating with multiple entities to ensure all project specifications and requirements are met. The Project Engineer must clearly understand project scope of work responsibilities and communicate those to field personnel as well as address changes to the scope of work. Responsibilities:· Assist with multiple construction projects simultaneously, ensuring timely and within-budget completion.· Project setup including identifying project specific requirements· Acquire and approve supplier and vendor quotes· Review project schedules· Submittals· RFI creations, follow up, communication· Collaborate with the accounting department for project starts, change orders and invoicing· Coordinate subcontractors, material acquisition and permits with superintendent· Assist with other facets of a project or within the company as requested. Position Requirements:· Education and experience preferences:o Four-year construction management degree or equivalent technical training and related experience· Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact and maintain rapport with subcontractors/vendors, customers, work well in teams, and communicate effectively with staff.· Have a strong attention to detail, organization skills and the ability to manage multiple, competing priorities, often within tight deadlines.· Ability to read and understand plans.· Microsoft Office applications and knowledge of CAD, Bluebeam, or similar programs is desired but not required.· Must have a valid driver's license, the ability to pass a criminal background check Salary:Salary is competitive and based on experience. $22-$28/hour. Position eligible for overtime.
