Ref #: M-RN-293864We're looking for a Registered Nurse to join a Labor & Delivery team in Pella, IA on a contract/travel basis. This role starts ASAP and pays $2,424 per 40-hour week.What you'll be doing:Monitor maternal and fetal vital signs and fetal heart tracings throughout labor and delivery.Assist with labor, delivery and postpartum care, including interventions and routine newborn assessments.Administer medications and other prescribed treatments safely and accurately.Provide clear education and emotional support to patients and families about childbirth, postpartum recovery and newborn care.Accurately document care and keep the healthcare team informed of patient status.Collaborate closely with physicians, midwives and other clinical staff to ensure safe, high-quality care.What we're looking for:Active RN license in the practicing state.Previous obstetrics or labor & delivery experience is preferred.Strong clinical judgment, communication skills and critical thinking.BLS required; ACLS and NRP preferred.If you're comfortable working in a fast-paced L&D environment and want a short-term assignment in Pella, we'd love to hear from you.
