Ref #: C-RN-Location: Pembroke, NCType: Contract (Non-Travel)Start: ASAPDuration: 9 weeksSchedule: 08:00 AM-04:30 PMRate: Local: $2,360 / 40 hoursRequirements:Active, valid Registered Nurse state licensePrevious nursing leadership/management experienceBLS certificationKey Responsibilities:Lead and direct nursing staff (RNs, LPNs, CNAs) to ensure adherence to facility policies and standards.Oversee patient care delivery: perform/verify assessments, medication administration, documentation, and adjust care plans as needed.Manage staffing and scheduling to meet patient care needs and unit requirements.Mentor, educate, and evaluate nursing staff to support professional development and competency.Monitor compliance with clinical standards and regulations; conduct audits and implement quality improvement actions.Facilitate interdisciplinary communication and care coordination across the healthcare team.Advocate for patients, address concerns, and promote patient-centered care.Respond to medical emergencies per facility protocols.Ensure accurate and timely electronic health record documentation.Stay current with healthcare regulations and ensure staff compliance.Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
