BD-1245-03Location: Aberdeen, WAFacility: SchoolProfession: Allied Health - Physical TherapistType: ContractSchedule: Monday-Friday (specific schedule to be determined)Rate: $60/hrRequirements:Active Washington physical therapy licensePrimary responsibilities:Evaluate students' gross motor skills and develop/implement PT plans to improve independence and mobility.Provide interventions for positioning, balance, transfer training, gait, and functional mobility to enhance safety and participation.Assess, recommend, and fit adaptive equipment (walkers, wheelchairs, seating systems) and document recommendations.Train school staff and caregivers in safe handling, transfers, and positioning techniques to protect students and staff.Collaborate with educators, therapists, and transportation staff to ensure accessible, equitable participation in classrooms, activities, and transit.Complete required documentation, progress notes, and IEP-related reporting in accordance with school policies and standards of care.Perform other duties as assigned.
