Position OverviewThe Production Supervisor is responsible for overseeing employees in a manufacturing and assembly environment. This role involves planning and assigning work, implementing policies and procedures, and recommending improvements in production methods, equipment, operating procedures, and working conditions.What you'll doFoster positive employee relations; provide coaching and developmentMake employment-related decisions and resolve issues through problem-solvingBalance quality, productivity, cost, safety, and morale to achieve optimal resultsDrive continuous improvement across all areasManage departmental performance metrics and provide regular progress reportsLead through a 30-day planning cycle.Conduct accident investigations.Maintain appropriate inventory levels.Set and manage departmental prioritiesEnsure a safe and clean work environment through training and complianceTrack absenteeism and timekeeping.Who you areHigh school diploma or equivalentMinimum of 3 years' experience in a manufacturing production settingTextile experience (particularly cut-and-sew operations) strongly preferredKnowledge of lean manufacturing, 5S, continuous improvement.Strong interpersonal, leadership, and analytical skillsAbility to read and use a tape measureGeneral knowledge of fabricsSewing experience preferred; familiarity with industrial sewing machinesHigh accuracy with names, numbers, and spellingAbility to stand for extended periods and lift continuouslyStrong attention to detailProficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft WordWhat's in it for youAnnual base salary range: $44,000.00 - $57,000.00Bonus target range: 5%Generous benefits package including medical, dental, vision, life, disabilityA company culture that prioritizes internal development and professional growthTime off with pay 401(k) plan with a degree of employer matchingPaid parental leaveWellness programs and product discountsPlease note, all offers presented to candidates are carefully crafted to ensure market competitiveness, equity, and reflect the individual candidate's education, experience, skills and potential.Hunter Douglas is an Equal Opportunity Employer and complies with applicable employment laws.
