This position oversees and is responsible for the day-to-day operations involving maintenance on high-performance experimental aircraft.*Essential Functions: *The Maintenance Manager’s primary functions include, but are not limited to:- Leading a team of 2-3 other mechanics in the following duties:- Maintain, repair, and troubleshoot airframe, engine, and basic avionics- Read and comprehend aircraft service manuals- Organize and assist in shop efficiency improvements- Work with management to ensure jobs are completed safely and on-time- Document and maintain discrepancy logs for individual aircraft- Write log book entries*Minimum Qualifications:*- High School diploma (Required)- FAA Airframe & Powerplant Certificate (Required)- Inspection Authorization (Preferred)- Experience with Pratt and Whitney turbo prop engines (Preferred)- Experience with Continental and Lycoming engines (Preferred)- Experience with composite materials (Preferred)- Self-motivated- Problem solver- Ability to follow written/verbal instructions*Physical Demands & Work Environment:*- Physically able to lift up to 100 lbs- Physically able to work in tight and/or uncomfortable spaces- Work hours in excess of 40 hours per week may be required at times. xqrzhdi _Note: Nothing in this job description restricts management’s right to assign or reassign duties and responsibilities to this job at any time. _Job Type: Full-timePay: $80,000.00 - $90,000.00 per yearBenefits:* Paid time offSchedule:* 8 hour shift* Day shift* Monday to Friday* OvertimeWork Location: In person
