This role ensures that healthcare facilities are designed, constructed, and maintained to support clinical operations, regulatory compliance, and long-term organizational goals.Essential JobStatementsStrategic Planning & DevelopmentCollaborate withreal estate team andsenior leadership to align real estate strategies with healthcare delivery goals.Conduct feasibility studies, site selection, schematic design, design development, construction document/administration and spaceutilizationanalysis.Participate in the development of facility master plansasrequiredProject ManagementLead capital projects from concept through completion, including renovations, expansions, and new construction.Lead the development of the request for bids and/or request for proposal scope of projects in coordination with supply chainOversee project scope, budget, timeline, and quality standards.Establish clear expectations of other team members by documenting roles andresponsibilitiestimelines, standards for quality, and measures of terface with senior management on all aspects of constructionplanningwhenrequired.Select and negotiate with supply chain and legalappropriate contractsfor architectural and engineering servicesManage project scope, budget, timeline, and quality standards.Leads design meetings witharchitects, engineers, contractors, and internal stakeholdersCoordinate completed design projects for handoff to construction teamsManage project to ensure the scope is within the parametersestablishedto meet budget and timelineDocument information for design meetings and information/communication records for the real estate portfolio.Ensure smoothhandoff of complete designs to construction teams.Regulatory Compliance & Risk ManagementEnsure all projectscomply withhealthcare regulations (e.g., Joint Commission, OSHA, ADA, CMS, FGI,).Oversee environmental and safety risk assessments.Ensure all processes and policies are followed to include significant transaction processes required by the Board of Directors.Identifypotential issues and implement mitigation strategies to keep projects on track.Financial OversightPrepare andmanagerproject budget and forecasts.Create workday and strata documents to support the projectEvaluate cost-saving opportunities and return on investment.Develop SBAR for justification of project overrunsMaintainaccurateschedules and forecasts in e-Builder and Smartsheet.Stakeholder CommunicationServe as the liaison between clinical departments, administration, and external vendors.Provide regular updates to executive leadership and board members.Patient Population:N/AEmployment QualificationsRequired Education:Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Facilities Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.Preferred Education:AMaster's degree in Project Management, Facilities Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.Licensing/ CertificationLicensure/Certification Required:PMP certification, Lean, Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certificationLicensure/Certification Preferred: N/AMinimum QualificationsYears and Type of Required Experience:Years and Type of Required Experience:8+years of experience in facility management, construction, or project managementonhealth careprojects.Other Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:Proficiency in standard Microsoft desktop software including MS Projects, AutoCAD or Revit, e-Builder.
