Position Summary The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will oversee all financial operations of Beacon Mechanical Service, LLC and serve as a key strategic partner to ownership and executive leadership. This role is responsible for financial planning, reporting, compliance, and performance analysis across a project- and service-based business. The CFO will focus on improving margins, cash flow, job costing accuracy, and financial visibility while ensuring strong controls and compliance.Key ResponsibilitiesLead financial strategy, budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planningOversee preparation and accuracy of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statementsEnsure compliance with GAAP, tax requirements, and regulatory standardsManage cash flow, working capital, banking relationships, and credit facilitiesAnalyze job costing, labor efficiency, overhead, and margins across residential and commercial workPartner with operations to improve pricing, profitability, and cost controlsDevelop and maintain financial controls, policies, and scalable systemsProvide clear financial insights and recommendations to support executive decision-makingLead and develop the accounting and finance function; manage external accountants, auditors, and advisorsSupport growth initiatives including new services, capital investments, and system implementationsQualificationsProven experience in a senior financial leadership role (CFO, VP of Finance, or Senior Controller)Strong background in financial planning, budgeting, and operational financial analysisExpertise in financial reporting, compliance, and internal controlsExperience in mechanical contracting, construction, trades, or service-based businesses strongly preferredHands-on leadership style with strong analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to translate financial data into actionable business insightsExcellent communication and collaboration skillsBachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting#J-18808-Ljbffr
