As part of a nationally recognized healthcare system in Sacramento, you'll work in one of Northern California's most advanced Women's and Children's Centers, supporting a Level IV NICU and a full spectrum of pediatric specialties. Our pediatric clinical pharmacy team plays a vital role in ensuring safe, effective, and individualized medication therapy for infants and children. You'll collaborate closely with physicians and nurses in NICU and PICU settings, provide precision dosing, oversee medication safety, and educate families all while leveraging cutting-edge technology and evidence-based practices. This is an informal leader on the pediatric service line. It is a 100% clinical position and offers autonomy to manage workflows while overseeing the functionality of the service line. Enjoy a great work/life balance working 40 hours Monday-Friday day shifts (typically 8-5 with flex in starting at 7 or 9am). Qualifications: BS in Pharmacy required (PharmD preferred) License - Any State (with eligibility to reciprocate) - CA licensed (or in process with scheduled MPJE) is preferred Ideal Candidate will be PGY2 Pediatric Residency trained and BCPPS or a combination of PGY2 Pediatric Residency plus 2-3 years of Pediatric experience or BCPPS and 5 or more years of high acuity peds experience Must have extensive (5+ years) in a high acuity peds experience This is a great opportunity to join a close knit world-class pediatric team as an informal leader offering your expertise to the pharmacy service line.
