This role covers financial reporting, reconciliations, audits, and collaboration with operations to ensure accurate and timely accounting.Why join us?Hybrid schedule (3 days in office, 2 days remote)Competitive salary based on experienceHealth, dental, and vision insuranceFlexible Spending Account (FSA) / Health Savings Account (HSA) optionsGenerous paid time offProfessional development opportunitiesAnd more!Job DetailsKey ResponsibilitiesPrepare and analyze monthly financial statements for assigned propertiesEnsure compliance with GAAP and relevant regulationsCreate and review detailed balance sheet reconciliations (prepaids, capex, property taxes, insurance, etc.)Prepare bank reconciliations, journal entries, management fees, and distribution calculationsAssist with property budgets and forecastsHandle treasury tasks including transfers, wires/ACH, and positive pay issuesReview accounts payable for accuracy, coding, and approvalsPartner with operations to resolve accounting questions and provide financial guidanceSupport quarterly and annual external auditsQualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance requiredMinimum 3 years of accounting experienceReal estate industry experience/property accounting experience requiredStrong knowledge of GAAP and property accounting principlesEntrata or Yardi software experience is a plusInterested in hearing more?
