The ideal candidate will have a strong background in facilities management, capital project leadership, and sustainable infrastructure solutions supporting manufacturing and R&D environments.Why join us?Competitive compensation packageFull benefits including medical, dental, and vision (effective Day 1)401(k) with company match20 PTO days plus generous sick leaveHybrid/flexible work environmentOpportunity to make a significant operational impact in a growing, innovation-driven organizationJob DetailsKey ResponsibilitiesLead the day-to-day operations of multiple facilities, ensuring seamless support for R&D, production, and administrative functions.Maintain compliance with building codes, environmental regulations, and safety standards.Oversee preventive maintenance programs for HVAC, utilities, security, and critical equipment.Direct capital improvement projects including lab build-outs, infrastructure upgrades, and equipment installations.Develop project scopes, budgets, and timelines; manage contractors and ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.Negotiate and manage service contracts to optimize cost and performance across sites.Champion energy efficiency and sustainability initiatives to reduce waste, water use, and carbon emissions.Partner with leadership on emergency response planning, EH&S initiatives, and strategic space utilization.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, or related field (Master's preferred).10+ years of progressive experience in facilities leadership roles, ideally within manufacturing or R&D settings.Proven success managing construction projects, vendors, and cross-functional teams.Strong knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and state environmental regulations.Experience with building automation, energy management systems, and sustainability planning.Ability to travel routinely between Massachusetts sites and occasionally to California.Preferred BackgroundExperience in chemical process, cleanroom, or roll-to-roll production environments.Demonstrated success implementing capital projects and energy-efficient upgrades across multi-site terested in hearing more?
