Does that sound like you? The Opportunity with McKinstry McKinstry is looking to add a Construction Project Manager to our growing Special Projects Group in Spokane. If you thrive in a collaborative environment, enjoy project design and customer requirements, and are passionate about solving problems and achieving goals- this may be the right position for you! Assist with the Request for Proposal (RFP) and procurement process along with tracking current and future jobs, reviewing contracts and drawings and specifications. Coordinate equipment procurement with our purchasing department and outside vendors. Schedule, develop the scope of work with subcontractors, and assist in the preparation of monthly financial reporting. Communicate with general contractors, architects, engineers, and owners. Work closely with our project management team and respond to questions raised by superintendents and field workers on a daily basis. Work with the project team to solve problems and will gain hands-on experience in the field. Create and respond to requests for information (RFI). Develop, process, and track equipment, materials, and informational submittals. Create site-specific work plans and create operations and maintenance manuals for our clients. Process change orders, create billing breakdowns, and conduct quantify take-off and estimates. What You Need to Succeed at McKinstry: BA/BS degree in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Architecture, Facilities Management or comparable degree or equivalent work experience preferred.
