Job Details — ICU RN Travel Nursing Job Location: Honolulu, HI 96817 (Honolulu healthcare, Hawaii nursing jobs) Setting: Intensive Care Unit (ICU) / Critical Care Unit (CCU) Position: ICU Registered Nurse (RN), Travel Nurse / Travel Nursing Contract Contract Duration: 13 weeks (Start: 2/16/2026 – End: 5/18/2026) Hours per Week: 36 (Guaranteed: 32 hours/week) Shift: 12-hour rotating shifts Number of Openings: 2 ICU RN positions Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,020 - $2,130 Work Type: On-site (hospital-based critical care nursing job) Job Requirements — ICU RN / Critical Care Nurse Qualifications Active Hawaii Registered Nurse (RN) license required prior to contract start Minimum 1 year of recent ICU or critical care nursing experience (ICU RN, CCU experience preferred) Ability to float to Progressive Care Unit (PCU) or Medical-Surgical (Med Surg) units as needed Willingness to work consecutive weekends when required Current BLS certification (American Heart Association) Strong clinical skills, critical care assessment, and adaptability in a fast-paced hospital environment Responsibilities — ICU Registered Nurse (RN) Deliver high-quality, evidence-based nursing care to critically ill patients in the ICU/CCU Continuous monitoring, assessment, and documentation of patient status and responses to interventions Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams (physicians, respiratory therapy, pharmacy) to develop and implement patient care plans Provide safe patient handoffs, participate in rounds, and escalate changes in patient condition appropriately Float to PCU or Med-Surg units during periods of low ICU census and maintain competence across units Follow hospital policies, safety protocols, and infection-control procedures while delivering compassionate patient and family-centered care This ICU nursing job is ideal for experienced critical care RNs looking for travel nurse assignments in Honolulu, Hawaii.
