Construction tasks include performing basic lab tests and survey procedures. Perform construction inspections. Prepare and check computations and data. Qualifications PREFERENCES: Preference may be given to individuals who can perform algebraic calculations. KNOWLEDGE: Knowledge of materials testing. Knowledge of surveying methods and equipment operations. Knowledge of construction inspection, which includes interpretation of plans and specifications. Skill in the use of computers. Strong math skills are required. Ability to perform algebraic calculations MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: None - See "Preferences" Necessary Special Requirements PHYSICAL WORKING CONDITIONS: Must have the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. This position requires working outdoors in a variety of weather conditions. Individuals in this classification must be available for work at any time, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
