About the Role MIRACORP, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented Human Resources Assistant to provide foundational human resources support to the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) in Idaho Falls. In this role, you will help ensure smooth and accurate HR operations by maintaining personnel records, supporting onboarding activities, and assisting employees with routine HR questions. This position is well-suited for individuals who thrive in a structured, mission-driven federal environment and enjoy supporting day-to-day HR functions. Location: U.S. Department of Energy Idaho Falls, ID Essential Functions HR Operations & Administrative Support Maintain personnel files, records, and HR documentation Support onboarding and offboarding processes Enter and update employee data in HR information systems Prepare HR correspondence, reports, and spreadsheets Coordinate HR meetings, training sessions, and communications Employee Support Respond to routine HR inquiries and direct employees to appropriate resources Provide basic assistance with HR processes and forms Compliance & Data Integrity Ensure accuracy and completeness of HR data Maintain confidentiality of sensitive personnel information Follow DOE and federal HR procedures Qualifications Qualifications High School Diploma and 2+ years of HR or administrative experience OR Associate's degree and 1 year of experience Strong organizational and administrative skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite High attention to detail and accuracy in data entry Familiarity with basic HR processes and terminology Preferred: Experience supporting federal HR programs Knowledge of OPM or DOE HR processes Why Choose MIRACORP?
