Job Description

Diversified Safety Services is a full-service occupational safety and health consulting firm providing safety professionals and support services for construction projects nationwide and various other industries. We are looking to add a full-time Recruiter to our growing team. The Recruiter will play a critical role in developing and growing our team by identifying, vetting, and hiring top talent in the safety industry. The Recruiter will be responsible for sourcing, screening, and coordinating field talent to meet client needs across multiple projects. This person will collaborate closely with account management teams to ensure positions are filled in a timely manner with the best possible candidates. The ideal candidate will have experience in recruiting, talent acquisition, or staffing coordination in a fast-paced, high-volume environment and is comfortable operating with urgency, accountability, and collaboration. Key Responsibilities Source qualified candidates using various methods, including job boards, social media (LinkedIn, etc), referrals, networking, and direct outreach. Screen resumes, conduct candidate interviews, and assess that the candidate's experience, skills, and credentials align with the company and client needs. Support an average of 30+ active openings at any given time, many with urgent or near start dates Create and maintain job postings, actively reviewing applicants, and taking timely action Manage ATS to ensure accurate candidate data entry, pipeline visibility, and up-to-date status tracking Prepare and submit candidate portfolios to account managers for review Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates in ATS for both current and future hiring needs Partner with Account Managers throughout the hiring and placement process to prioritize open positions, clarify job requirements, coordinate interviews, manage backfills, and support onboarding Assist with pre-hire requirements and onboarding efforts to ensure candidates are prepared and ready to mobilize Represent the company at job fairs, trade events, and industry networking as needed Qualifications 3 + years of proven experience as a recruiter, staffing coordinator, or talent acquisition specialist. Strong understanding of construction and safety industry standards, certifications, and terminology. Experience using ATS/CRM systems, LinkedIn Recruiter, and other relevant recruiting tools. Proficient in Adobe applications and Microsoft Office. Excellent communication, organization, and multitasking skills. Comfortable pushing for feedback and follow-ups in a fast-moving environment Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, managing multiple openings simultaneously in a competitive market.
