Lumira Search is partnered with a well-funded neurotech company, as we look to recruit for a Director of Clinical Affairs. Our client has developed a new VNS Therapy System and is preparing to advance its clinical strategy. The role is open to candidates based anywhere in the US. It is a hybrid working model between the home office and clinical sites across the US. The Role The Director of Clinical Affairs will provide strategic and operational leadership for clinical studies for our clients VNS Therapy System. This role is responsible for the planning, execution, and oversight of clinical evidence generation, including post-market studies, investigator-initiated research, and indication expansion studies. In this fast-growing start-up environment, the role will also involve a degree of cross-functional collaboration, including limited overlap with regulatory affairs and representing the company at key conferences, trade shows, and scientific meetings. Key Responsibilities Lead the strategy, design, and execution of clinical studies across feasibility, pivotal, and post-market phases. Oversee clinical evidence generation, including post-market studies, investigator-initiated research, and new indication expansion. Build, manage, and mentor the internal Clinical Affairs team. Establish and maintain strong relationships with investigators, clinical sites, and key opinion leaders. Collaborate cross-functionally with Regulatory, Medical, and Product teams Support regulatory submissions and health authority interactions as needed Ideal Candidate Profile Significant leadership experience in Clinical Affairs with neurmodulation medical devices. Proven track record of successfully managing and executing clinical studies from concept through completion Experience working in start-up or high-growth environments strongly preferred Established relationships with KOLs and clinical networks Strategic thinker with strong operational execution skills Comfortable operating in a dynamic, entrepreneurial setting with broad ownership To be considered, please send your CV to , with a short note as to why you are a strong fit for the position.
