Hiring Forklift Operators in Thief River Falls! - $19/hr (6am-4:30pm M-Th) As a Forklift Operator, you will play a crucial role in supporting the production line by picking parts, hardware, and subassemblies from the warehouse. You will spend approximately 70% of your time operating a forklift, with additional responsibilities including loading and counting parts by hand. You will work from a printed pick sheet that outlines bin locations and delivery points on the production line. Responsibilities Operate a forklift to transport parts and materials. Pick and deliver items as per the production line requirements. Perform inventory counts and assist in unloading trucks to restock shelves. Work with a printed pick sheet to locate and deliver parts accurately. Ensure accuracy in counting and recording parts. Essential Skills Proficient in forklift operation. Experience in inventory management. Ability to handle materials and perform parts picking. Knowledge of using an RF scanner. Competency in reading and writing clearly. Understanding of part numbers and locations. Additional Skills & Qualifications Minimum of 6 months experience in forklift or equipment operation. RF Scanner experience is advantageous. The work schedule is from Monday to Thursday, 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with frequent Friday shifts for weekly preparation. The warehouse team also works during line shutdowns, such as holiday periods, to conduct inventory. Safety is a priority, requiring steel-toed boots and safety glasses. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Thief River Falls, MN. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $19.00/hr.
