Temporary Position The Military Entrance Processing Station plays a vital role in maintaining the nation's military might by ensuring that each new member of the Armed Forces: Army, Marines, Navy, Air Force, Space Force, and Coast Guard meets the high mental, moral & medical standards required by the DoD and the military services. This position is a temporary not to exceed (NTE) 6 months position and may be extended in one year increments up to a maximum of three years.
