Weekend Packer / Inspector 1st Shift Location: Huntley, IL Position: Packer / Inspector Positions Available: 5 Shift: 1st Shift 5:00 PM to 5:00 AM Schedule: Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays Pay: $18.76/hour Job Duties and Responsibilities Removes completed thermoformed sheets from machines Visually inspects each thermoformed sheet Removes and sets aside non-conforming products per inspection control plan Reports non-conforming parts to operator Assembles cardboard cartons Removes individual parts and stacks per job specifications Loads parts into cartons and seals cartons Maintains clean, safe, and organized work area Performs other duties as assigned Keeps accurate part counts Keeps parts neatly stacked Makes new boxes Maintains a 97% attendance record Reads and understands specification sheets Self-starting and willing to learn Maintains good relationships with inspectors and operators Participates in improvement efforts Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Ability to lift, reach, stand, and walk continuously Good vision Excellent attention to detail Good written and verbal communication skills Good manual dexterity and agility Physical and Visual Activities/Demands Standing, walking, bending, reaching Pushing, pulling Reading, writing, talking Carrying and/or lifting up to 50 pounds Experience High school diploma or equivalent 6 months previous production line experience preferred
