Qualifications Bachelor's Degree or higher in Computer Science or a directly related field Minimum of two years' experience using enterprise-level applications or information systems, experience in an educational setting preferred Demonstrated proficiency with a variety of information systems, including, but not limited to, student information systems, transportation routing systems, assessment databases, employee information systems, financial software, and other third-party data platforms Demonstrated proficiency with database administration, configuration, optimization, custom queries, database language (SQL), and troubleshooting issues Experience with data integration, reporting tools, and cross-system data synchronization Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with a focus on accuracy Strong customer service and communication skills during phone, email, and in person interactions Ability to prioritize responsibilities, manage projects with direction, and meet deadlines Proven ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders across departments Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into user-friendly language Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board of Education may find appropriate and acceptable Compensation The entry level base salary for this position is expected to be approximately $71,598, plus highly competitive benefits, including 100% Board-paid IMRF contributions and 100% Board-paid employee-only health, dental, and term life insurance. There is a minimal employee cost for vision insurance. Additional compensation above the base is offered for those with previous successful experience.
