As part of the Customer Contact Center, the Relationship Growth & Engagement Specialist will support and expand the relationship with our customers through cross-selling bank products and services to both new and existing relationships. This position will also function as support for the Contact Center team as needed, all while exemplifying superior customer service and keeping to the highest standards of courtesy, professionalism, empathy and problem solving. Primary Accountabilities: Perform outbound sales and service calls to prospective and existing bank customers. Responsible for expanding the customer base by sourcing new relationships and cross-selling bank products and services to new and existing relationships. Responsible for handling customer inquiries and problems as needed. May assist with other Contact Center responsibilities such as inbound customer calls, servicing customer online banking requests, and supporting online account opening. May assist customers with product offerings, selection, loan application processes and opening accounts. Generate qualified referrals while following operational procedures and adhering to all regulatory and compliance requirements. Provide support to business unit personnel as needed. Assist with department projects and tasks as needed. Other duties as assigned. Knowledge, Skills, Experience and Education: 1+ yrs experience in inside sales, branch banking and services, customer service or other directly related experience. (Combination of education and experience may meet job requirements.) Working knowledge of sales, customer service, retention skills and banking products and services. Must have good customer service, problem resolution and communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to change within a fast-paced business environment. Ability to use a variety of computer software. Ability to cross sell bank products. Requires initiative and ability to recognize opportunities. Requires High School diploma or equivalent. Final hourly offer will be determined based on a particular candidate's unique combination of factors such as skills, education, experience and certifications.
