Salary: $30/hr - $45/hr Nurse The Nurse position is a full-time, seasonal position requiring the availability of days, nights, and weekends. The Nurse's responsibilities include but not limited to responding to and providing first-aid to all injured campers, coaches, umpires, employees and guests, completing all required paperwork, ensuring the safety and wellbeing of all campers, ensuring all campers have completed paperwork and maintaining files, keep updated daily medical logs, stock and maintain first aid kits, supervise camper self-administration of medication per physician's orders. Some lifting may be required, up to 50 pounds. Qualifications Must be a registered nurse or licensed practical nurse, and the candidate must possess current certifications in CPR and first aid as defined in subdivision 7-2 of the state sanitary code for children's camps. Licensure/Certificates LPN: Current NYS licensure as a Practical Nurse or valid interim permit. RN: Current NYS license as an RN required. Duties and Responsibilities Ensuring all campers have completed the required medical paperwork to attend. Maintain logs for all medical care provided. Oversee camper self-administered medications. Give injections to campers. Stock and maintain first aid kits and medical equipment. Guest service. Smile and engage with every guest. Address all questions and inquiries by guests. If asked a question they cannot answer, will solicit the correct information. Make each guest's visit a delightful and memorable experience. Work as a team member. Exhibit and maintain a level of professionalism during guest interactions. Follow the company dress code; maintain a consistently neat and professional appearance.
