Extrusion Press Operator/Utility Pries is looking for an Extrusion Press Operator/Utility to add to our 12inch Press crew! Previous machine operation a plus but not required. No previous experience needed! Do you have attention to detail and enjoy multitasking, this is a great opportunity for you! The schedule is 6pm-6am on a 2-2-3 rotation. This gives you a 3 day weekend every other week! Starting at up to $24 per hour! Benefits eligibility after 30 days of employment! Duties include: Assist in completing daily production reports Arrange and carry out all die and alloy changes Challenge to improve productivity and scrap rates, improve press recipes Run production per the schedule for the day and adapt as customer needs change Arrange for proper materials to be at press for scheduled runs Ensure dies are set up properly and ready for production via the furnace operator Assist team lead with machine set up Enter production information into company software system Occasionally pull random samples for team leaders to check conformity Responsible for insuring the proper alloy is used for production runs Break down dies after extruded Place dies in caustic area Comply with all safety policies, practices and procedures.
