Job Title: Medical Writer Medical Information (Payer and Health Systems) Location: On-site at TITUSVILLE, NJ Work Hours: 8:00 AM 4:30 PM Reports To: Associate Director / Director, Medical Information Payer and Health Systems Role Overview The Contractor Medical Writer, Medical Information Payer and Health Systems (PHS) supports the development, review, and dissemination of evidence-based scientific content for Payers, Healthcare Intermediaries, and Health Systems across assigned therapeutic areas This role is responsible for developing payer-facing scientific materials, contributing to AMCP dossiers and formulary submissions, supporting responses to unsolicited medical information requests, and collaborating across Medical Affairs, Real-World Value and Evidence (RW VandE), and cross-functional matrix teams. Key Responsibilities Payer Scientific Content and Materials (70%) Develop and disseminate tailored, evidence-based scientific materials for assigned therapeutic area products Contribute to AMCP standard and pre-approval dossiers, Medicaid formulary submissions, and custom payer requests Serve as a member of cross-functional review committees for regulated payer content Collaborate with Medical Affairs, RW VandE, and Field teams to support responses to unsolicited Medical Information Requests from Payers and Health Systems Support development of scientific materials for Clinical Decision Resource Organizations (CDROs) Participate in compendia strategy discussions and support compendia interactions Shape and develop Payer Digital Assets in collaboration with digital and content strategy partners Provide scientific review and vendor oversight to ensure high-quality content delivery Voice of Customer and Metrics (20%) Leverage customer insights to enhance payer materials and scientific engagement Track and report quantitative and qualitative metrics related to payer content performance Projects and Research (10%) Participate in ad-hoc projects as assigned Conduct benchmarking and landscape research across payer and health system environments Required Qualifications Pharmaceutical industry experience Strong medical writing and scientific communication skills Experience developing payer-facing materials (e.g., AMCP dossiers, formulary submissions) Experience working in a matrix environment with cross-functional collaboration Strong leadership, influencing, and stakeholder engagement skills Expertise in healthcare industry, clinical knowledge, or experience across multiple therapeutic areas Excellent written and presentation skills Ability to work independently and as a collaborative team contributor Preferred Qualifications Experience in Medical Information or Medical Affairs Experience supporting Real-World Evidence (RWE) initiatives Familiarity with compendia strategy and payer engagement Experience interacting with vendors and performing scientific content review Thanks Sri Vardhan Chilakamukku Infobahn SoftWorld Inc.
