Human Resources Business Partner Ideal candidate would reside in Oregon or Washington, and be willing to travel to various care centers as needed and have the ability to work remotely, occasionally coming into our Central Support office in Vancouver, WA. What Does The Human Resources Business Partner Do? The Human Resources Business Partner role serves as a consultant and trusted adviser between team members, administration, leadership and regional teams for an assigned group of business units (Corporate, Skilled Nursing Centers, Independent/Assisted Living Communities). This position proactively supports and directs the people and culture strategies developed and deployed to enhance the overall organizational effectiveness and success. In This Job, Every Day You Will: Builds strong and trusting relationships that support and encourage all team members to link their day to day work with the Prestige Core Values of Respect, Integrity, Trust and Commitment. Partners with regional and business unit leadership to assess and improve the effectiveness of the people and culture strategies that support the values, mission and objectives of the organization. Uses data and develops relationships with strategic partners within the organization (clinical, post-acute, finance, operations, compliance, marketing etc) to both assess current state of operations and monitor progress to goals and objectives. Analyzes human resource trends and metrics in partnership with peers to proactively provide insight and develop best practice solutions to be deployed broadly. Fosters dialogue and serves as a champion for enhancing organizational culture and strategies (core values, engagement, team building, communication, recognition, volunteerism etc.) Support and ensure the execution of annual HR cycle deliverables to include performance management, succession planning, merit/bonus awards, and benefits enrollment. Communicate and promote awareness and education of the Company's total reward programs. Support all aspects of training, learning and career development for all team members. Collaborate, monitor and ensure, with regional and business unit leaders, the effective delivery of required curriculum. Other duties as assigned. Education & Experience You Need To Qualify: Bachelor's degree required or equivalent knowledge and skills obtained through a combination of education, training and experience. Three to five years human resource generalist/business partner experience. SPHR or PHR preferred. Strong leadership skills and ability to build strong, trusting and collaborative relationships cross functionally. Highly organized and proficient at multi-tasking. Ability to develop and present concise information written and verbal. Ability to conduct meetings and facilitate training initiatives. Proficient in the use of MS Office applications is required Proficient in use of HRIS system is preferred Knowledge of regulatory compliance, federal and state laws with a working knowledge of multiple human resources disciplines. Strong employee relation, mediation, investigation and conflict resolution skills. Ability to assist legal counsel in the negotiation and management of the collective bargaining agreements and alternative dispute resolution processes. Ability to travel independently up to 25% of time.
