About the Opportunity We are hiring Insurance Collectors to support a growing Central Business Office serving multiple ambulatory surgery centers in the Jacksonville market. This is a high-impact revenue cycle role focused on insurance follow-up, appeals, and denial resolution. This team is expanding due to growth and new surgery centers coming on boardcreating strong long-term opportunity for the right candidates. What Youll Do Manage a daily queue Perform insurance follow-up with commercial and government payers (Medicare/Medicaid) Review EOBs and resolve coding or billing discrepancies Submit appeals and rebill corrected claims Address medical necessity denials in collaboration with coding and providers Maintain accurate documentation in the billing system Monitor A/R metrics and contribute to reducing bad debt Reconcile accounts placed with outside collection agencies What Were Looking For Required: Revenue Cycle experience (insurance follow-up, A/R, denials, or appeals) Strong understanding of reimbursement processes and medical necessity review Professional communication skills Ability to work onsite Preferred: Insurance A/R or insurance collections experience Ambulatory Surgery Center revenue cycle experience Experience with Advantx, Availity, Waystar, or major payer portals
