Support the National BI Analytics Leader in executing MMA's analytics strategy aimed at enhancing client retention and growth. Lead a team of analysts, delivering expert data analysis to meet business goals and present findings in clear, actionable formats that align with the MMA brand. Provide analytics advisory services to colleagues and clients, including research, data analysis, and development of new digital technologies. Oversee the accurate and timely production of reports, ensuring delivery aligns with expectations. Your analytics expertise will include: Identifying trends in claims data and recommending improvements through risk management techniques. Supporting negotiations with insurance underwriters and providing collateral support for clients. Quantifying future loss expectations using actuarial methods and statistical modeling. Advising clients on optimal insurance programs based on benchmarking and loss modeling. Facilitating accurate budgeting for loss-sensitive program adjustments. Participating in client meetings to explain analytical tools and results. Collaborating on group initiatives with National Business Insurance teams. Showcasing measurable results achieved for clients. Client service excellence. Cooperate with Producers, Account Executives, and service teams to create and execute customized client service strategies. Address RFPs, develop presentations, and formal proposals in collaboration with account teams and risk practice colleagues. Take a holistic approach, collaborating across internal departments for a seamless client experience. Effectively manage your time to prioritize workload and client requests. Be a thought leader in analytics. Serve as a technical expert, offering analytical resources to account teams and clients. Collaborate with regional analytics resources to share best practices. Contribute to educational initiatives to enhance account team staff's analytical capabilities. Mentor and train junior analytics colleagues. About you. We are looking for someone with: A BS/BA in insurance & risk management, actuarial science, business administration, accounting, finance, economics, mathematics, or statistics. 10+ years of experience in property & casualty insurance analytics. A general understanding of Property, Casualty, Cyber, and Directors & Officers insurance risk transfer structures/deals. Experience in interpreting actuarial methods and statistical modeling. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Products, particularly Excel and PowerPoint. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Additional qualifications (a plus, not required): Experience in Property & Casualty underwriting with an analytics focus. Property & Casualty actuarial experience. Compensation will depend on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, and education. This position may also be eligible for performance-based incentives.
