Position Summary: Join our team as a Shift Supervisor, where you'll play a key role in ensuring exceptional customer service and operational excellence. In this hands-on position, you'll directly supervise the operations during your shift, focusing on cleanliness, hospitality, product quality, and overall speed of service. You will also assist in training team members and foster a positive work environment. As the Shift Supervisor, you may take full responsibility for closing operations and occasionally opening the restaurant when other management is unavailable. Your mission will be to ensure food safety, maintain customer satisfaction, and deliver a fantastic experience for both guests and your team. Duties and Responsibilities: Welcome customers warmly and take their orders accurately. Prepare and package food and beverages according to our standards. Operate cash registers, process transactions, and ensure correct change is given. Ensure cleanliness and sanitation throughout the restaurant, including the kitchen, dining area, and restrooms. Help with food preparation and dishwashing as needed. Restock supplies and manage inventory efficiently. Compliance with food safety regulations is a must. Promote new menu items and provide recommendations to guests. Support opening and closing tasks effectively. Manage shifts fairly, ensuring compliance with workplace laws. Offer continuous coaching and constructive feedback to team members. Tackle any safety concerns in the workplace proactively. Report serious issues to management and HR as necessary. Conduct daily food safety and preparation audits. Monitor inventory and help maintain accurate cash procedures. Qualifications: Must be at least 18 years old. Strongly preferred to be an internal candidate who has completed all required training and certifications. High school diploma or GED is preferred. A minimum of 6 months experience in a supervisory role in a service-related business. Legal ability to work in the United States. Willingness to work flexible hours. Basic math and reading skills are essential. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Personal Characteristics: Positive attitude and strong work ethic. Good hygiene and appearance.
