We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Estimator to join our team. The Estimator will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates for construction projects by analyzing proposals, blueprints, specifications, and related documents. This role plays a crucial part in helping our company win bids and ensure profitability while maintaining high standards of quality and compliance. Estimator Responsibilities: Review project plans, specifications, and other documentation to prepare accurate cost estimates. Analyze labor, materials, equipment, and time requirements. Obtain and evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotes. Develop and maintain a database of pricing, suppliers, and subcontractors. Coordinate and communicate with architects, engineers, clients, and subcontractors. Prepare bid proposals and participate in bid submission processes. Track and maintain historical cost data and assist in cost control and project planning. Identify cost-saving opportunities and evaluate risks associated with project budgets. Participate in pre-construction meetings and provide value engineering suggestions. Collaborate with project managers and field teams to ensure budget alignment. Qualifications for Success: Bachelors degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field (preferred). 3+ years of experience in construction estimating, preferably with a general contractor. Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and building codes. Proficient in estimating software (Procore, Bluebeam, or similar). Excellent math, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Strong organizational and communication skills. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents. Familiarity with industry pricing and subcontractor/vendor networks.
