Phillips Academy seeks detail-oriented, collaborative, and motivated Administrative Interns for Andover Summer 2026! Interns are expected to arrive June 21 and work through August 6, 2026. The program runs June 23 through August 4, 2026 (for new teachers and teaching assistants) and June 24 through August 4, 2026 (for returning faculty), with students on campus June 30 through August 2, 2026. Andover Summer offers an extraordinary opportunity for rising college seniors or recent graduates to gain hands-on experience in education administration. Administrative Interns are integral to the daily operations of Andover Summer, supporting the program's logistical, academic, and student-life functions. Working closely with program directors and deans, interns help coordinate communication, manage office workflows, support registration and reporting, and assist faculty and students throughout the season. This position requires strong organizational skills, professionalism, and a high degree of flexibility. Interns learn the inner workings of independent-school administration, from academic planning to student support, while contributing to a dynamic and mission-driven team. Administrative Interns must be available to work a rotating schedule that provides seven-day coverage of the Andover Summer Office. The position offers meaningful professional development in a collaborative, high-energy environment. Compensation Interns receive an hourly wage range of $17-$19, plus room and board and housing for eight weeks.
