Systems Administrator Queens, NY | Full-Time | On-Site 5 days week | Financial Institution We are hiring a Systems Administrator to join a stable, well-established financial institution based in Queens, NY. This is a full-time, on-site role focused on managing and securing infrastructure across VMware, Windows Server, and networking environments. You'll play a key role in maintaining system uptime, executing audit remediations, and supporting enterprise technology used across banking operations. Responsibilities: Administer and support VMware vSphere environments (ESXi, vCenter) Manage and secure Windows Server systems and Active Directory Execute server hardening and audit remediation tasks Monitor infrastructure health and resolve issues related to hardware, software, and connectivity Coordinate system upgrades, patching, deployments, and equipment installations Provide Tier 2-3 support to end users and IT helpdesk Document processes and contribute to security/compliance best practices Requirements: 3+ years of hands-on experience in system or infrastructure administration Recent, hands-on experience with VMware products (vSphere, ESXi, vCenter) Strong skills in Windows Server, Active Directory, and Group Policy Familiarity with LAN/WAN networking concepts, switches, routers Experience with audit remediation or server security hardening (preferred) Strong troubleshooting and communication skills Must be commutable to Queens - preference given to local candidates US Citizen or Valid US Green Card Nice to Have Financial services or banking industry experience Certifications such as CompTIA Network+/Security+, MCSA, or VCP Why Apply?
