Locum Tenens Job Opportunity for Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) We are seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) for a locum tenens position in the vicinity of Deerfield, Virginia. Schedule and Coverage Shifts: Standard Shift Details: 3 night shifts per week (12-13 hours each), from 19:00 to 7:00 Block Schedules: Not required Additional Requirements: One rotating Saturday per month Work Details Practice Setting: PACU / Post Anesthesia / Recovery Patient Age Group: Pediatrics, Adolescents, Adults Procedures and Workload: Involves work in Main OR, Outpatient surgery center, and Endoscopy center Contract Length: 3 months with options to extend Weekly Availability: Preferably no rotating weeks on/weeks off Schedule Options: 4x10 hour shifts or 3x12-13 hour shifts weekly, plus one rotating Saturday each month Time Off Policy: All time off requests must be submitted upfront; extended time off exceeding 5 consecutive days will not be approved during the summer months Department Overview Environment: Level 1 trauma center with a comprehensive team of 60 CRNAs, 70 attending anesthesiologists, and 60 additional anesthesiology staff members Coverage: 33 ORs in the main OR, 16 offsite anesthesia locations, 12 outpatient surgery, and 4 GI rooms Job Requirements Board Certification: Required State Licenses: Must be licensed in Virginia or willing to obtain licensure Certifications: ACLS and BLS required DEA and CSR: Not specified Experience: Minimum of 2 years required Charting Experience: Preferred experience with Epic This position provides an excellent opportunity for CRNAs to work in a high-volume, diverse practice setting, with a supportive team of professionals.
