The Senior Transportation Account Manager is responsible for selling the company’s Display products and services related to the Transportation industry sector in the US market. This position is responsible for identifying, developing, and fostering partnerships with key industry decision-makers and influencers including partners, consultants, and end-clients who work in various Transportation sectors including Airports (international and regional), Train stations, Port Authorities and other public transit hubs. This individual must possess a growth mindset and specialized skills in developing business opportunities and building maintaining customer relations for all aspects of the Transportation market and the various channel sectors through creative business development practice, strong and self-guided initiative, superior customer service and strong communication skills. In particular, the individual must be active and creative in developing new business opportunities, they must demonstrate expertise at identifying, defining, and articulating customer needs and wants. It is key that this professional understand how to vet viable business opportunities within the vertical in an effective and efficient manner. The professional must be able to translate business opportunities into accurate forecasts and deliver on revenue, bookings, and profit goals. The Transportation Account Manager must own the necessary skills needed to navigate complex organizational hierarchies which exist in the Transportation industry including identifying the key influencers and decision-makers within an organization and where appropriate navigate partner and consultant networks. The Transportation Account Manager must be skilled at strategic and solution-based selling. This individual will manage profitable revenue growth within an assigned areas of responsibility, base of accounts and prospects and help to grow and improve the company’s profitability. Roles and Responsibilities: Apply solution-selling skills to sell goods and/or products to the target market and for viable customer opportunities at a fair profit for the company Develop, promote and manage sports sales activities Ensure effective service by acting as a liaison between customer personnel and company personnel. Proactively address potential service issues likely to compromise customer satisfaction with the company Interface with customers, prospects, and various business partners. Develop customer proposals that effectively communicate Samsung’s unique value proposition and differentiators. Represent our products and services accurately. Apply strategic-selling approach to business development opportunities. Grow sales and meet established targets via revenue and booked new business, expand market penetration, and increase profitability. Maintain outstanding customer service and support Manage travel expenses in accordance with company policy Identify and develop effective and impactful relationships with Transportation industry-related consultants and partners. Establish and maintain productive working relationships at all levels within assigned customer and prospect organizations. Consult with and advise customers regarding products and services in order to positively impact business performance. The salary range for this role will vary among specific regions due to geographic differentials in the labor market, and actual pay will be determined considering factors such as relevant skills and experience, and comparison to other employees in the role.
