The ideal candidate will be responsible for helping maintain the overall condition of our facilities and equipment, ensuring a safe and functional environment. The Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing a variety of maintenance and repair tasks to ensure that machinery, equipment, buildings, and systems operate efficiently and safely. This role includes troubleshooting issues, conducting preventive maintenance, and responding to maintenance requests.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesØ Report to work on timeØ Be able to work flexible hours when neededØ Be self-motivatedØ Learn machinery and how it worksØ Learn and perform routine preventative maintenance on our equipmentØ Conduct inspections to identify and resolve issues related to plumbing and electrical systemsØ Operate and maintain various tools and equipment to complete repairsØ Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staffØ Keep accurate maintenance records and documentationØ Assist in maintaining inventory levels of maintenance suppliesØ Learn equipment preventative maintenanceØ Perform preventative maintenance regularlyØ Vehicle maintenance without major overhaulsØ Maintenance of vehicles, buildings, cleanliness, and overall appearancesØ Lawn maintenance when neededØ Strong critical thinking skills and attention to detailØ Clean up equipment and buildingsØ Keep the shop and supply room neat and organizedRequirementsØ Practical mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting and repairing equipmentØ Practical electrical knowledgeØ Proper lifting knowledgeØ The ability to communicate effectively in EnglishØ A Team player with a “Can do” attitudeThis position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where your maintenance skills will be valued and appreciated.
