Job Full Description Quality Control InspectorLocation: Mahwah, NJ Pay Rate: $28.00 per hour Schedule: Monday - Friday | 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM Position Summary We are seeking an experienced Quality Control Inspector to join our team in Mahwah, NJ. The Quality Control Inspector is responsible for ensuring that all documentation, raw materials, and finished products meet required specifications and quality standards. This role requires performing inspections at various stages of production and completing required documentation in accordance with quality procedures and customer requirements. Key Responsibilities Ensure conformity of incoming materials and products through certification review, dimensional inspection, and visual inspection. Perform First Article, Receiving, In-Process, and Final Inspections at required intervals. Conduct inspections on production molds, parts, and fixtures. Generate Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) for any discrepancies found. Communicate with vendors and customers regarding product-specific quality information when required. Collaborate with internal departments to address and resolve quality-related issues. Perform SAE AS9102 First Article Inspection Reports (FAIRs). Maintain inspection documentation within the company's online database. Set up and operate precision measuring instruments including: Micrometers Calipers Height gages Thickness gages Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) Optical Comparator (OGP) KEYENCE Image Dimension Measurement System Perform calibration of inspection equipment as required. Conduct additional testing and inspections as needed. Train fellow team members when necessary. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications & Requirements Associate degree (2-year degree) or higher preferred. Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Quality Inspector with dimensional inspection experience. Hands-on experience with precision measuring tools including micrometers, calipers, height gages, thickness gages, and CMM. Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Excel and Word. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints. Working knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing). Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate documentation. Ability to read and interpret inspection criteria and specifications.
