This position is responsible for managing patient information, processing admissions, and maintaining accurate and organized patient records.The ideal candidate is efficient, organized, and capable of managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Strong computer skills and a commitment to confidentiality and accuracy are essential.Responsibilities:Schedule caregivers and coordinate visits with clientsRequest and track authorizations from insurance providersContact primary care physicians (PCPs) to obtain necessary documentationFollow up with patients regarding appointments and service updatesMaintain and update client and employee records in compliance with agency and Medicare guidelinesEnsure all documentation is accurate, complete, and submitted in a timely mannerAnswer incoming calls and respond to inquiries professionally and promptlyHandle general administrative duties such as filing, scanning, data entry, and mail processingMaintain confidentiality of all patient and agency informationPerform other clerical tasks as assignedQualifications:Previous experience as an office clerk or in a similar administrative role (preferably in a healthcare or home care setting)Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and comfortable with electronic record systemsStrong organizational and time management skillsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAbility to multitask and work both independently and as part of a teamBilingual (preferred, but not required)
