We are seeking compassionate and skilled Registered Nurses (RN), Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN), or Certified Medical Assistants (CMA) passionate about delivering exceptional patient care in a general surgery setting. Responsibilities Assess and document patients' physical, psychological, and social conditions accurately. Ensure all necessary pre-authorizations and consent forms are obtained before therapies. Maintain timely and precise documentation in electronic medical records, including symptom management, lab results, treatment plans, and medication administration records. Establish treatment priorities based on medical and nursing diagnoses. Document nursing interventions and patient responses thoroughly. Plan and complete work efficiently while ensuring accurate billing. Prepare for and assist with office procedures and administer medications as directed. Report and document any adverse medication effects and immunizations properly. Perform clinical procedures such as injections, immunizations, phlebotomy, tympanograms, EKGs, and vision screenings. Make referrals to other providers and facilities as directed. Manage patient communications, including triaging calls and reporting test results promptly. Maintain exam rooms, replenish supplies, and ensure cleanliness. Provide patient and family education tailored to their understanding. May float to other departments as needed. Administer chemotherapy, hydration, and other medications under provider supervision, following correct dosage and technique. Education and Experience Graduate of an accredited nursing school with current licensure as an RN or LPN, or certification as a CMA, eligible to work within the Midwest region. Two or more years of experience as an RN or LPN preferred. Proficiency with electronic health record systems; experience with Epic EHR is a plus. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification by the American Heart Association. Completion or willingness to complete Mandatory Reporter training within six months of hire. Compliance with all federal, state, and professional licensure and regulatory training requirements.
