The achievers and courageous challenge-crushers we seek, have the following characteristics and skills: What You Will Do: • Assisting and giving guidance on determining applicable aircraft specific interfaces (envelope, sill heights) when not working with supplier • Determining the requirements flow down of applicable aircraft specific environmental conditions (temps, vibration, inertial). • Create the certification test plan and meet with authorities as required to get agreement on the plan • Execute certification test plan and providing necessary results to complete the report. FAA conformity will be required for test articles and facilities. Test witnessing will require arrangements with Airworthiness Authorities • Compose an analysis for on-aircraft evacuation testing by similarity based on going from incumbent slide design to new design. The objective is to do no additional evacuation testing outside of TSO requirements. What You Will Bring: • 10+ years' experience executing FAA witness testing • Certified by the FAA • Evacuation testing experience Pay Range: $100/hour - $150/hour Compensation decisions are made based on factors including experience, skills, education, and other job-related factors, in accordance with our internal pay structure. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, paid time off, and retirement plan. Work Requirements: This position is classified as remote within the United States. Travel Requirements: Due to the nature of the work, 10% of travel is required Citizenship Requirement: Due to the nature of the work, U.S. citizenship is required.
