Job Summary: In the role of Field Sales Executive, Payment Technology, you will play a crucial role in assisting small and mid-sized merchants in modernizing their operations using Genius®, our premier Point of Sale and payment platform. You will be responsible for managing the complete sales cycle, from prospecting to closing deals while collaborating with leadership for support and coaching in a fast-paced environment. What You'll Do: Engage small to mid-sized businesses, particularly in the restaurant, retail, and service industries, by selling Genius® and other Global Payments solutions. Develop a consistent sales pipeline through proactive field prospecting, digital outreach, and local networking efforts. Deliver consultative presentations in-person and virtually to showcase how Genius® enhances payment processing, improves operations, and boosts customer loyalty. Work closely with your District Manager to uncover new opportunities, set appointments, and swiftly close sales. Maintain accurate tracking of your pipeline and activities using Atlas and Salesforce, ensuring documentation of calls, follow-ups, and client communications. Upsell and cross-sell to existing merchants, introducing new features, software add-ons, and hardware updates. Stay updated on the fintech landscape and industry trends to position yourself as a trusted advisor for technology solutions. What You Bring: Proven track record in B2B sales, ideally within SaaS, fintech, or merchant services. Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation abilities, comfortable in both face-to-face and virtual sales interactions. High energy and self-motivation, with a competitive spirit to exceed targets. Professional demeanor and a natural ability to connect with business owners. Familiarity with the restaurant or retail sectors is a bonus. A valid driver's license and a willingness to spend at least 75% of your working hours in the field. Minimum & Preferred Qualifications: Must be at least 18 years old. High school diploma or GED required; a college degree is preferred. A minimum of two years of relevant B2B sales experience. Must reside within the geographic area of the job posting. Compensation: Annual On-Target Earnings (OTE): $100,000+ Base Salary: $40,000 Residual Income: Continue earning monthly from accounts you establish. Bonuses: Monthly and quarterly incentives for exceeding quotas and reaching stretch goals. Annual Range: $80,000-$150,000 Your compensation is determined by your performance, skills, and territory—your success is in your hands.
