job summary: A Supply Management Planner is needed for an American corporation that manufactures agricultural, construction, and forestry machinery, diesel engines, drivetrains (axles, transmissions, gearboxes) used in heavy equipment, and lawn care equipment in the Moline, IL area. This role is focused on managing supplier relationships, executing the procure-to-pay process, and resolving transactional hurdles to ensure seamless factory operations and inventory flow. location: Moline, Illinois job type: Contract salary: $17.25 - 23.89 per hour work hours: 8am to 5pm education: High School responsibilities: Managing day-to-day supplier performance and relationships for assigned commodities to support factory operations. Converting requisitions and shopping carts into formal purchase orders. Resolving complex supply incidents, blocked invoices, delinquent orders, and purchase order transmission errors. Providing on-demand customer support and training to both suppliers and internal stakeholders. Analyzing key supplier management indicators to provide performance feedback. Executing the annual framework process for indirect materials and services. Collecting market data on cost drivers, industry dynamics, and innovation to support senior decision-making. Managing site-specific inventory and addressing discrepancies following established procedures. Contributing to continuous improvement ideas by reviewing existing supply chain operations. Monitoring existing contract performance to provide data for future negotiations and renewals. Skills: Effective communication skills (written/verbal). Efficiency with Microsoft Office products. Planning and Organizing. Data Collection and Analysis. Verbal Communication. Procurement Process Management. Education and Experience: Post-Secondary Non-Tertiary Education. Bachelor's Degree or equivalent related work experiences. Basic experience of simple office / operational systems (4 to 6 months). Very limited (0 to 3 months). 1 or more years Supply Management & Logistics experience. 1 or more years SAP Materials Management experience. 1 or more years Customer Service.
