Position Overview: As the Invasive Cardiology Manager, you will oversee the Electrophysiology Labs, Cath Labs, and Cardiac Procedural Holding in partnership with the Director of Clinical Operations at the Heart and Vascular Institute (HVI). This role is accountable for managing human, material, and financial resources to ensure high-quality and cost-effective patient care. Key Responsibilities: Ensure compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards. Lead and evaluate staff recruitment, training, and development. Address issues affecting patient care delivery in assigned units. Develop and implement effective policies and procedures. Monitor budget compliance and oversee expenditures. Collaborate with clinical coordinators to support nursing staff in their professional development. Assess the quality and effectiveness of nursing practices and services. Provide leadership for nursing staff, ensuring all standards of quality and service are met. Fulfill other duties as assigned. Adhere to the ANA Scope and Standards of Nursing Practice, Code of Ethics, and Social Policy Statement. Qualifications: Licensure/Certification: Registered Nurse licensed in Connecticut, obtained prior to hiring or transfer. BLS Provider certification from AHA or American Red Cross within 60 days of hire. ACLS certification is preferred. Nursing administration certification required within 5 years of position assumption. Education: BSN required; MSN preferred. Candidates nearing completion may be considered based on individual circumstances. Experience: Minimum 3 years of relevant clinical experience in Electrophysiology Labs or Cardiac Cath Lab. Proven leadership and strong communication skills are essential.
