Data & Analytics Project Manager SF BAY Area ( Hybrid , Need local candidates only ) 12+ Months Contract Description of Skills/Needs : Job Title: Project Manager - Data & Analytics Initiative Location: SF Bay Area, CA Employment Type: Contract (Onsite/Hybrid) Overview : We are seeking an experienced Project Manager (10-14 years) with deep expertise in SAP BW, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), enterprise reporting/analytics tools, and retail domain experience to lead a strategic Data & Analytics initiative. The role involves driving complex analytics modernization programs, including decommissioning legacy solutions such as Tableau, ensuring seamless transition and minimal business disruption. Strong delivery leadership, stakeholder management, and execution across cross-functional teams are essential. Key ResponsibilitiesLead end-to-end Data & Analytics initiatives, including platform migrations, reporting modernization, and decommissioning legacy tools, ensuring scope, timelines, and deliverables are met.Apply Agile practices hands-on, while adapting to Waterfall or Hybrid frameworks when needed.Align and communicate effectively with business and engineering leaders at all levels.Track and manage dependencies, risks, and resource allocations across multiple teams.Plan, track, and report progress using Smartsheet and JIRA; build dashboards (EazyBI a plus).Ensure compliance with governance, security, and organizational standards. Required Qualifications10-14 years of Project Management experience, including 5+ years leading Agile initiatives.Strong domain knowledge in SAP BW, GCP (BigQuery, Dataflow, etc.), and reporting/analytics platforms (Tableau, Looker, Power BI).Hands-on experience in Agile frameworks (Scrum, SAFe, Kanban) with familiarity in Waterfall and Hybrid approaches.Proficiency in Smartsheet and JIRA; EazyBI experience preferred.Experience managing analytics modernization programs, including legacy tool decommissioning.Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, including engagement with Director/VP-level stakeholders and conflict resolution.Based in the Bay Area, CA with flexibility for hybrid or onsite work. Preferred / Good to HaveExperience in budget management and financial tracking.Leading large-scale Data & Analytics modernization programs.Portfolio management or cost optimization experience.Retail domain expertise
