Benzonia, MI. 49616 QUALIFICATIONS ? High School Diploma or equivalent ? Good working knowledge of landscaping equipment, tractors, mowers, trimmers, edger's. ? Good working knowledge of outdoor sprinkler systems - programming and scheduling. ? Ability to paint sports fields in a timely manner, working with coaches and Athletic Director for scheduling practices and games. ? Good working knowledge of snow removal equipment - plow trucks, tractors, and snow blowers. ? Willingness to learn and be trained Preferred: ? Knowledge of field maintenance, including aeration, fertilization EVALUATION: Performance of this job will be evaluated annually by the Director of Operations TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: ? 260 days ? Salary range $41,000-$45,000 to be determined by experience and qualifications. ? Competitive benefit package. ? Starting times will be established on a seasonal basis as follows: ? Summer/Spring/Fall - 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM ? Winter - 4:00 AM - 12:30 PM PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES: Summer ? Mowing and upkeep of grounds - trimming shrubs and trees, edging sidewalks. ? Responsible for sprinkler systems and watering fields, including keeping athletic fields ready to play. ? Responsible for maintenance of tractors and mowing equipment. ? Keep driveways, sidewalks, and parking lots free of gravel and debris. ? Keep bleachers in good repair. ? Ensures that gates are locked daily. Spring/Fall ? Summer responsibilities carry over. ? Keep game fields and practice fields lined and painted throughout the playing season. ? Keep outside bathrooms cleaned and trash picked up daily. ? Keep leaves raked and sticks picked up as needed. ? Drains and winterizes athletic complex and restrooms. Winter ? Keep all entrances and sidewalks free of ice and snow. ? Keep driveway entrances and exits accessible. ? Removes snow from around the recycling trailer. ? Keep entrances to out buildings accessible. ? Helps out inside of building or other buildings as needed. ? Other related duties as assigned by the Director of Operations.
