Selectek is currently partnering with a small but expanding architectural firm in Rome, GA, that is building a new Engineering Division. They are actively seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer with a background in power and lighting design to join their growing team. This role offers a unique opportunity to help shape the engineering arm of the firm and contribute to a wide variety of impactful projects.Key Responsibilities: Design electrical systems including power distribution and lighting for commercial and institutional buildingsCollaborate with architects and engineering staff on integrated project developmentProduce construction drawings using RevitWork on projects including pediatric clinics, veterinary hospitals, multifamily housing, and government facilitiesEnsure code compliance and maintain quality standards across all design phasesParticipate in meetings and coordinate with stakeholders and project teams Required Qualifications: 5+ years of experience in electrical power and lighting designProficiency in Revit drafting softwareStrong communication skills and ability to collaborate with diverse project teams Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Electrical EngineeringLicensed Professional Engineer (PE)Experience with projects in medical, animal health, hospitality, government, or commercial sectors Additional Information: This firm is based in Rome, GA, but is open to candidates from surrounding markets such as Cartersville, due to the niche nature of the roleThey are flexible on years of experience and open to younger candidates with the right skill set and ambitionThis is an exciting opportunity to help launch and shape a new engineering function within a supportive, architecture-driven environment Pay Rate: $85,000 - $95,000Term: 6 months ttp Open to Direct HireIf you are qualified and interested in this opportunity, please send an updated resume to OR contact Kyle Lankswert directly by calling 470-203-9801.
